What can i say about this elixir?

Hello
My name is Frank.
I am writing to you from my room in St Patricks terrace, that is in Monkstown, which is in Dun Laoghaire, which is just outside dublin, the capital of Ireland. As i write this i am lying on my bed listening to Kraftwerk, a rare occurence for me. I suppose that this opening document should be presented not only as an introduction but also as an impromptu mission statement? Well i’m not exactly too definite on my plan of action as of yet so for now i shall simply state my “Hopes” for this blog.

the blog is called so as i have spent over half a year working away from home and have made very few new friends, this has resulted in a rather monotonous existence which (you've guessed it) has become all too simple. henceforth i plan to use this blog as my vent, my soapbox if you will, from which i will hopefully initiate and engage in, the conversations i missed having.
i have chosen the Url "This-elixir" as i have a soft spot for the obscure, and Mr Frank zappa fills that spot nicely from time to time.

Primarily i will be writing here to express what i expect will be my rather instantaneous and hastily prepared opinions on whichever subject matter happens to be intriguing me at the time.
My most common posts will be jauntily opinionated sashays through the well trodden territories of class divisions in modern society, the slow but steady seepage into our homes of planet mtv. And intermittent outbursts relating to those little gems of music film and print that pop up in my day to day adventures.

I’m not promising any educated analysis of modern political issues although i will have my own questions and cries for help in that area. no guarantee can be made also that each of my articles will be of the same calibre as i will be writing in all sorts of conditions and environments ranging from this very room, to trains, at work, in the bar, and in any locations i feel obliged to put my opinion online
